Diagnosing tomato allergy

Your doctor will examine and after knowing the symptoms he may order you to take the following tests:-

  • skin prick test
  • Blood test


Your doctor will give the following treatment for tomato allergy like -antihistamines and topical ointment. But if you know that you have tomato allergy it is advisable to avoid them eating completely rather than suffering from unwanted symptoms. But if you are one of those who like to include tomatoes in diet and cannot ignore them completely, then eat in small amounts. Moreover, tomatoes are highly nutritious loaded with important nutrients like vitamin C, beta-carotene and lycopene. Tomatoes definitely add taste to your food preparation so just avoid them if you only have severe tomato allergy otherwise you can eat them once in a while.
